Our Warranty Policy
EconRam Systems warranties all of our Sun, HP, IBM, and Seagate systems and parts (unless otherwise noted or discussed) for a period of 12 months from date of purchase. Cisco items are all under warranty for 90 days. The warranty only covers hardware components used under normal circumstances; software is not covered under the warranty. Extended warranties are available in yearly increments. Please contact a salesperson for information on purchasing an extended warranty or maintenance package.


Standard 12 Month Bumper-To-Bumper Warranty Claims


If you suspect a hardware problem with your machine, please email our support group at support@econram.com. Our certified hardware technicians will be glad to troubleshoot the problem with you. If it is determined that a hardware problem exists please proceed to our RMA page to return damaged hardware. Our warranty does not cover the cost of shipping a faulty part back to us. A replacement component will then be sent to you after the faulty part is received and audited.

NOTE: Please be sure to pack items securely with enough packing material, as the warranty does not cover damage on improperly packed items. You should also insure your package with the carrier.


Missing or Incorrect Parts Policy


Occasionally incorrect or incomplete orders may be sent accidentally. In case your order arrives and is incomplete or inaccurate please notify us within 15 days of receipt of your order. Missing or wrong part requests may not be honored after this time period has elapsed. If you receive your package and there is an item missing, please call us as soon as possible.


Delivery of Replacement Items


All domestic replacement items are sent at no charge via UPS Ground service. Depending on your geographical location, items for domestic US orders sent via the Free Ground service can take anywhere from 1 to 7 business days to arrive. If you have a UPS, FedEx or DHL account number, we will be glad to ship the replacement items on your account via the service level of your choice. Our warranty does not cover international shipping for replacement items.


For Mission-Critical Environments


If your needs are time-critical, for example, require onsite support, 24x7 support, onsite spares or other custom services that are not included under our standard warranty, please speak with your salesperson for more information on a EconRam Systems maintenance plan that fits your needs.


What the Warranty Does Not Include


Econram.com's standard hardware warranty does NOT include the following services:

  • "Advance Exchange" - i.e. replacement parts sent prior to return of the faulty component

  • Advanced telephone software support

  • Onsite troubleshooting / technical support

  • 24x7 technical support

  • Overnight shipment of replacement parts

  • Loaner systems or spare parts
Technical Support Policy


If your system arrives and does not function, Econram.com will provide technical support to assist you in getting your machine running from a hardware perspective. Email support@econram.com for assistance.

Once your machine is up and running (i.e. once it can successfully complete hardware diagnostics), the standard warranty does not include assistance with system usage questions (i.e., How do I "..." ?), software mis-configurations, bugs or other software issues. If you require more advanced software or configuration assistance, please inquire about our consulting and software support services.
